Sketch your basic flower shape.
Start by sketching a basic flower shape. If you’re not sure how to do this, start with a small circle for the center of the flower and then add petals around it. You can make your petals curved or pointy, long or short – it’s up to you! Once you have your basic shape, move on to step two.
Draw a spiral in the center of the flower.
If you’d like to start by drawing a simple flower, begin by drawing a small spiral in the center of your page. This will be the center of your flower. Then, start drawing petals around the center of the spiral. Make each petal slightly different in shape and size. For example, one petal could be larger than the others, or one could be shaped differently. As you draw the petals, make them curve inward so that they appear to be wrapping around the center of the flower.

2.Next, add two or three small lines coming off of the circle. These will be the pollen-bearing parts of the stamen.
3.Finally, draw a few smaller lines radiating out from the center of the stamen. These will be the petals of the flower.

Finally, give your flower some leaves.
To finish off your flower, you’ll need to add some leaves. Start by drawing two small oval shapes near the bottom of the stem. Then, draw a third oval shape slightly overlapping the first two. Once you’re happy with the placement of your leaves, draw a curved line connecting all three ovals. Finally, add some small details to your leaves to give them some texture and dimension.
