Sketch a basic outline of the flower.
Start by sketching a small oval in the center of your paper. This will be the main body of the flower. Next, sketch a few small curved lines coming off of the oval. These lines will be the petals of the flower. Finally, add a few small circles at the base of the oval. These will be the flower’s stamen. erase any extra lines so that your flower looks clean and simple.
Draw the center of the flower.
Start by drawing a small circle in the center of your paper. This will be the center of your flower. From the center, draw 5 petals coming out evenly spaced. Make the petals pointy at the tips.
Add petals around the center.
Drawing simple flowers is a great way to practice your drawing skills. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to draw a simple flower using a few basic shapes.
First, let’s start with the center of the flower. Draw a small circle in the middle of your paper. Then, add some petals around the center. For each petal, draw a curved line that starts at the edge of the circle and curves back toward the center. Continue adding petals until you’re happy with the size and shape of your flower.
Now, let’s add some leaves. For each leaf, draw a curved line that starts at the bottom of the stem and curves up toward the top. Make sure to add some Veins running through each leaf for realism.
Finally, color in your flowers and leaves however you like! You can use real or imaginary colors – it’s up to you!
Finish the details of the flower.
Now that you have the basic shape of your flower down, it’s time to finish the details. Draw in the petals, making them slightly curved and asymmetrical. Then, add some stamen in the center of the flower. Finally, erase any pencil lines that you don’t need anymore.
